The TextP2P Calendar / Event Scheduler allows you to visually schedule meetings with your contacts and it will automatically send reminder notifications to you and text and email message reminders to your contact invitees.
Watch this video for a tutorial:
The First step is to create the text templates and email templates that you will need to use. Then will want to check the box next to notifications you want to enable and select the time to send and the template to send. Note that changes to these options will only affect future calendar events not existing ones.
Note there are 3 new dynamic personalization fields that can be inserted into the text message, email subject, and email body. The include the following:
[EVENTNAME] - Calendar event title
[START] - Start date and time of the event ex. 09/05/2023 1:00 pm
[STARTDATE] - Start date only ex. 09/05/2023
[STARTTIME] - Start time only ex. 1:00pm
[END] - End date and time of the event ex. 09/05/2023 2:00 pm
[ENDDATE] - End date only ex. 09/05/2023
[ENDTIME] - End time only ex. 2:00pm
[LOCATION] - location of the event
[DESCRIPTION] - event description
The next step is to enable and configure the calendar options by checking the box to enable the reminder, then selecting when to send and the template to be sent.
After you save your calendar options you can start scheduling events. You can select the week by clicking on the month navigator on the left hand side, and then simply click and highlight and meeting time to create a new event.
The event name / description can be whatever you want less than 256 characters in length. The "Send Reminders" check box will enable all reminders that are checked on the calendar options screen to be scheduled. If you don't want this event to have any reminders, then uncheck the box.
Contacts can be selected if they exist in your contact database. Simply start typing a name and the contacts will appear. The number after the contact name is their contact id.
The event menu allows you to delete the event or change it's color. Also you can see all the scheduled reminders for each event.
Under the Action button menu you can access calendar options and the bulk CSV Upload.
The Bulk Calendar Scheduler (CSV Upload) screen gives you a example file which should be downloaded first so you know the correct format. Select your csv on your computer to upload, and check the box if you have 1 row of headers at the top. Semicolon separated is mostly used in Europe and Canada.
