Mixed use cases:
- If your campaign description and selected use case indicate Marketing content and it’s being used alongside Customer Care or Notifications (a mixed use case), you’ll need to include a separate marketing consent checkbox in your opt-in flow. This helps clearly distinguish between messages that are essential/service-related (e.g., account updates, appointment reminders, support follow-ups) and marketing/promotional messages (e.g., offers, discounts, product announcements). The marketing consent should be clearly labeled and it must be separate from any general opt-in for service messages.
Forced Opt-in is not allowed
- The marketing consent checkbox must be optional, not required to submit the opt-in form, and unchecked by default so the user can make an explicit choice.
Example of Mixed Use Case:

Privacy Policy and Terms of Services
- Your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service must be included in the Message Flow / Call-to-Action section of your submission (in Console or through the API). These links should be live, publicly accessible, compliant, and easy to find on your website (for example, in the footer).
- Please note that when you submit the campaign, stating that the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are available on your website will not be enough, but the links need to be included in the campaign submission.
