Get started quickly by importing your existing customers!
If you have not done so already, start by creating a list and importing your existing customers and contacts from an comma separated value (CSV) file. If your contacts are in an existing CRM database or email marketing platform, there should be an easy way for you to export them into a CSV file. Then that CSV file can be edited with Microsoft Excel, Google spreadsheets, or Mac Numbers. Just be sure to re-save as a CSV when you are finished editing. Watch the video below for step by step instructions on how to create a list and import your contacts into TextP2P.
Here is what latest screen:
Options:
File Contains Headers | If the CSV contains one row of headers as the first line of the file, then check this box. ex. First name, Last name, Phone, etc. |
Remove Contacts from other workflow list | If you are using workflows which are associated to lists, you have the option of removing contacts from all workflow lists on upload and only adding them to the current list which could start a new workflow. This could be useful for making sure a contact is not in multiple workflows at the same time. |
Semicolon separated | Semicolons are sometimes used instead of commas in CSV files. This is typical in European countries. |
Update any existing contacts | Default is enabled. If any imported contacts are already exist, we’ll automatically replace their information with the data from your import and associate them to the selected list. If you do not choose this option, any existing contacts will be automatically filtered out by email or phone. |
